When we moved, it took a while to transition. A lack of community, everything new, isolation... I started to feeling down.

I made myself a deal- I would commit to running every day, to see if that could help bring me more into a stable place. Since that commitment, over two months ago, I've ran. Every single day. For someone who used to be a runner in high school, it's been a return, a rejuvenation.

It allows me the time to observe my world and connect with nature, an ongoing conversation that elevates me. Everyday, I notice something new: a fuzzy cactus, a funny sign in front of a door, a new neighbor, a pink flower.

Running is revelation in motion.
