• Taught all levels high school students core elements of creating powerful visual imagery, including contrast, balance, value, negative and positive space, and color.

• Used variety of mediums, focusing on acrylic paint and canvas.

• Taught use of reference images to enhance work.

• Facilitated positive atmosphere based on focus and respect.

• Taught philosophy of art-making to encourage exploration and experimentation.

 

Co-Founder and Project Manager, Hevria House; Brooklyn, NY June 2017- Present

• Grew in-person creative community from 20 to 160 people under leadership.

  • • Regular bimonthly writer for four years on sister site, hevria.com, of 15,000 followers.

  • • Organized events, variety shows, and Creative Dinner nights.

  • • Structured leader meetings.

  • • Organized partnerships with larger organizations, including CKI, UJA, and Hakhel.

  • • Taught painting, figure drawing to members and used organic marketing, social media and email marketing, to reach about thirty dedicated students in the last two years. • Monthly podcast host for Hevria podcast. Selected guests and interview style.
